The Amway Grand Plaza has been making history since the original hotel - The Pantlind - opened in 1913. You will enjoy the old-world character and splendor of this four-diamond hotel with features such as gold-leaf ceilings in the Pantlind lobby, beautiful ballrooms and a collection of art on the walls. By 1925, The Pantlind was rightfully ranked “One of the Ten Finest Hotels in America.”
That distinguished
history paved the way for the new Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in 1981, combining
the graceful heritage of The Pantlind with the modern amenities of the
new Glass Tower. Many meetings and the hospitalities will be located
in the hotel whereas others will be in DeVos Place, connected to the
Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
As a guest, you will be treated to fine service in a luxury facility
at a very reasonable cost. We have negotiated a nightly room rate of
$105 for NACAA guests. Pool and fitness facility use is available for
a guest room fee of $5.00 per 24 hour period of use.
The Days Inn Grand Rapids Downtown is a full service, award-winning hotel that has consistently received a “foursunburst” rating. This hotel is located directly across from the Gerald R. Ford Museum and next to the Van Andel Museum and is just a five minute walk from the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place Convention Center. They offer free parking and a continental breakfast each morning. This facility has a pool and free in-room internet access. We have negotiated all this for $84 per night.
Courtyard by Marriott – Downtown
Located in the heart of the Grand Rapids downtown entertainment district, this up-scale hotel is just a five minute walk through enclosed walkways from the NACAA headquarters hotel and location for the conference. It features spacious rooms that combine comfort and functionality. This hotel is a nonsmoking facility and has an indoor pool and fitness facility. The room rate is $105 per night for up to 4 persons per room.
